T-26 details by Kari Tapio | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
Mr. Kari Tapio sent me a batch of unsorted but excellent reference pictures of the T-26 tanks at Parola. Quite appropriate as the HobbyBoss model kits are hitting the market right now. Some of the tanks are featuring the Finnish made (ca. 1942->) rear bumber and/or Finnish mod strenghtened idler-wheels. The narrower idler wheel strenghtening plate is ca. 78-80 mm wide (1/35 = 2,2-2,3 mm), and the wider strenghtening plate is ca. 106-110 mm (1/35 = 3,0-3,1 mm). These pictures are taken at the Finnish Armour Museum in Parola, Finland by Mr. Kari Tapio. Photos copyrighted © by Mr. Kari Tapio. All rights reserved. Used with permission.
